I'm a bridge burner. If someone pisses me off enough, they don't get a 2nd chance. Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice would be shame on me and I won't let that happen.
I did try to work out an argument with a former best friend, and later ended up getting screwed when she found a 'new' best friend. I'm 24, she's 30. Go figure. That's what I get for trying to change my ways. I prefer to keep several close friends that I consider family and who I've known since I moved out here (after cutting ties to friends back home -- not good people), but other than that everyone I meet is an acquaintance.

I try to burn bridges, but the darned things just won't seem to ignite. Getting people out of my life seems impossible.

I don't just burn bridges, I blow them up. Anybody who has ever screwed me over is gone from my life. I don't give anybody a second chance to do me wrong.

I've burned a few and regretted every one of them. I find ways around it now.
