Could anyone please kindly tell me where I could download some of X-men comics?

I dont think u can download old ones. but you can download new ones off the official marvel comics website.
Also, you can buy a 40 years of X-Men collection that has 485 Uncanny X-Men comics from the 1963 to 2005. I have it, and its a lot of comics on printable pdf format. It's pretty sweet, because without the disc, I'd never have been able to read the old classic stories.
If you want a particular decade, I can help you out. This has to be a lot of help, right? Best answer? Please?

Try going to www.marvel.com....sometimes they have digital comics and they always update them,.
