Low speed. When it's going faster, it has a lot of it's own momentum spinning it around.

If you listen to a fan on low speed, you can hear the motor whine.

I would guess.

FIFTH SPEED it takes more power to go faster, so it takes more current to go faster, think going 15 miles an hour does not produce as much air as 50 miles, or 100 miles an hour, it takes more electricity at high speed as it would at low, LOWER SPEED
