I just watched something about this on Oprah today. There's these lightbulbs you can buy for about $10 each that have 10 times the life of regular lightbulbs and use up to 66% LESS energy. Also, RECYCLE, REDUCE, REUSE! Plant trees! Use as much recycled materials as you can! And spread the word! Let's all become environmentalists so we can save the Earth for our children and THEIR children! :)

Believes global warming is more about the normal cycles of the earth than anything man has caused. Could our practices accelerate the regular warming cycle of the earth? Perhaps, but it still will change. Looking back over the geological history of the earth and you'll find at least 4 ice ages. That means at least that many warming trends also. Whatever we may do to stop global warming it may happen with or without us.

First and foremost we should treat it as our problem rather than their problem. A sub-mergence of economic interest in greater good of humanity is required,i.e. is to say developmental needs should be harmonised with environmental imperatives.Developed countries should stop giving lip service only.On the other hand developing countries should also look for sorting out problems rather than expressing their inability only.Technology transfer along with economic compensation to developing countries is need of the hour.
