Had there been no 9/11 how would you have shown your patriotism? What are the things you would have done to show you love America? Putting others down doesn't count. Constructive ideas only.

Had there been no 9/11 I doubt Dubya would be so criticized. He started out as wanting to be a uniting President. Iraq kinda threw that whole legacy thing out the window.

It is hard to talk about patriotism in piece time. I personally believe in America first, as I believe every other country thinks of themselves first. I would definitely speak out for everything I felt would make America stronger and denounce what would make it weaker and write my representatives as such. Piece time patriotism is easier because there is little sacrifice to be made.

I would continue to vote in all elections even the ones on the school board level after I had studied the issues and vote for someone who had realistic solutions. I would become involved in causes that would benefit the community as whole. I would avoid special interests and I would not give money to an individuals political campaign. I would work for term limits. No more than 10 years in Congress. I would also advocate for a law that would prohibit more than one person from each family from running for politcal office.

Vote. Display the flag. Support and thank veterans. Speak boldly in public, especially about how to improve the nation. Defend the US as the best nation, so far, due to its basis of human freedom.
