"The Ring" really freaked me out. I was uneasy watching TV for like a week afterward. I'm over it now, but it was really haunting for a while.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only person that was scared of "Darkness Falls". I'm a grown woman with a child of my own and that movie still scared the crap outta me!! I slept with the hall light on for almost a week afterwards...LOL..it seems funny now, but I'll never watch it again.

How about the most shocking scene, and thus horror-response inducing-the final scene of Electra Glide in Blue-Robert Blake. A shock value patterned after "Easy Rider."

Rosemary's Baby (1968) and The Hills have Eyes (2006). I had to watch the first with the lights on and the second clutching to my husbands hand.

Dawn of the Dead. After watching it at the theater years ago, I was afraid to go outside. I was scared I would see dead people who would be biting people and I feared to be the next victim.
