Hillsong United is the youth arm of Hillsong Church, and they've been putting out their own worship albums. Worship leaders like Marty Sampson and Joel Houston and Youth Pastors Phil and Lucinda Dooley came from the early days of the youth fellowship and you can watch their history on the DVD of their latest album "United We Stand".
I think what was amazing was that this cutting-edge worship that they're putting out started with just a very young band that knew only three songs by Delirious?. The focus has always been about blessing and loving the youth as much as possible, being creative each week and trying to outdo the last meeting. By aiming high and loving the youth the thing has exploded in numbers and impact.
Go to www.hillsong.com.au for more info. They're located in Sydney and if you live in the northwest you're particularly blessed to be able to attend their main service. They also have another campus in the City and various satellite services throughout Sydney.

What do we need to know about them? That they are a worship band? That they have awesome songs for the Lord? That they are from Australia? What?!?
