It surely is not, Its more like a disease or a reservoir for human quandaries with questions ranging from existentialism to the size of a preteen's penis, It definetly is not THE cure, slowly but surely just like a virus gains resistance from an antibiotic, we are becoming resistant to Yahoo answers.

Smart people have been giving answers to human quandaries for a while.
The point here is that average person does NOT listen.
Take the Bush admin and the US for example: There is enough evidence about Bush's lack of intelligence, enough evidence about the consequences of his disastrous decisions and there is plenty of info on his shady past and present . Intellectuals are against him, yet their voices are being muffled by average yet powerful people. And average yet power-less citizens follow such path - these are people that refuse to embrace the truth!
Intelligence means little if those in power crush intelligence and common sense.

If This was the place for the cures of the human world. Why would people be asking where to have sex? It's appalling really. World leaders however are a different thing. If they really wanted the opinion of their people, they WOULD come here. However, they have their politicians to tell them what we think.

The problem is that various world leaders do not want help. If they admitted weakness, it might cause them to lose grip on that which they value most, be it power, money, land, or other property. Those who are in control want to retain it. I believe it might even be a part of their [fragile] ego structure. If they lose control, it would be akin to having a strong wind knock down a house of cards. It would collapse their egos, and deal them a crushing defeat. However, because other people also depend on these "leaders" for guidance, unfortunately their situations would also collapse. Not their egos, but their ability to obtain goods and services, which cannot necessarily be supplied by private industry.

Thank you for the compliment. However, I can be more effective
by not being in politics or work for the government. Who knows,
maybe someday I will patent something and make money
like Bill Gates did.
