Not Tom Hanks! It would have to be someone who could pass for both intellectual and handsome. Not too young and not too old (Hanks). Maybe David Duchovny? I also think Nicholas Cage, but only because his National Treasure character sort of reminds me of Langdon. Someone above mentioned Harrison Ford...he would have been a really good choice if the movie were made 15 years ago but the book wasn't written yet! ..even so, I could see what they were envisioning.
