I don't believe in coincidence. I do however, believe that our lives have purpose, that we have a mission in life and God has given us the agency to make our own choices.
I think when we choose a certain path, we meet certain people for a reason, so we can learn from them and/or teach them. Sometimes, if we are blessed, we'll make lifelong friends. Other times, the relationships are temporary, but they serve a purpose.
Every experience we have is an opportunity for character development and spiritual growth. We either become wise, or we continue to act like fools as we grow older and suffer the negative consequences of our immaturity.
I believe Our Heavenly Father is in control, that he knows exactly what is best for us, and that in our lives there is no such thing as chance. For me, coincidence implies randomness, and there is nothing random about God. He loves us, and he is in charge.

Coincidence literally describes two or more events or entities occupying the same point in space or time, but colloquially means two or more events or entities possessing unexpected parallels, such as thinking about someone and then receiving an unexpected phone call from that person, when it is clear that there is no ordinary causal connection.A coincidence does not prove a relationship, but related events may be expected to have a higher index of coincidence. From a statistical perspective, coincidences are inevitable and often less remarkable than they may appear intuitively.

There is without a doubt a thing as coincidence. Happens all the time can be as small as running into an old friend...think about how that happens what takes place...a meeting of two people who haven't seen or talked in years. Completely random you just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Take a minute and think about what you did before you saw that person (if this should ever happen) and how you might not have run into them had you done something differently in your day. That is coincidence you chose to do everything in a specific way (running err-ins) ...most of the time, but for the sake of my point lets just say you did. If something would have taken longer or not taken long enough you may not have seen that person...now think of that same scenerio and lets say everything didn't go as planned and you ran into that person same deal if everything had gone as planned..you get my jist. Everything happened as it was supposed to in all reality.
Your next question...does it all happen for a reason...thats debateable only for the fact that some people think they have 100% complete control of your life and as well they should, but I do believe that things happen for a reason fate as some may call it. Everyday you make decisions and thats final the thing most people don't think about is what if you would have chosen the later of the two choices. For every action there is an equal or opposite reaction. Which means quite simply there are two sides to everything in this case two+ choices whatever.
You as a person make your own decisions choose to do things when you do so on and so fourth...but do we know if those choices etc. weren't pre-destined or fate (and yes I maybe going out on a tangent) and that everything happens as it should. Do we know that for sure no, interesting to think about though, could just be suspicion but logic lets us think other wise.
I'm a person that changes my mind alot I'll choose one way to go to work then I'll think of another route and take that instead...is that written in my 'stars' as they say I personally don't know is it fate did 'fate' know I was going to do that already? Is this fate was I supposed to find your question and then give you my views lol who knows...really thats the beauty in it.
Bottom line just do things as you feel...if something good happens great...something bad obviously not great really not all that much you can do...thats part of the reason why life is really fun to live. We roll the dice everyday who knows what were going to come up with but its gonna happen one way or another.

I believe everything happens for a reason. We all have a purpose to serve. Sometimes things happen to keep us on the path we're supposed to be on. Alot of skeptics may say that similiar things happening near each other may be coincidence but
most of the time a higher power has the only authority over those things.

Yes there are coincidences. We often see them in hindsight. As a happy atheist I reject the idea of pre-ordained "reasons" or interference from supernatural entities. It's a wonderfully haphazard though often interdependant world. But we convert incidents and experience to "reasons" by what we do with them. If we observe repeated phenomenon, it's reasonable to look for the reason, or whether it exists. But to expect everything to happen for a reason is to try to make some comprehensible sense of life and the world. It's a kind of cargo-cult mentality, for comfort. And it takes much of the awe, wonder, and fun, out of life. We're too ignorant to make that worthwhile, surely?

Everything happens for a reason. Some for a lot of reasons. Nothing is ever a coincidence. It's all part of a bigger plan.

I believe that everything happens for a reason and that there very few coincidences in life....Most of us are just too busy to stop and question what is just easier to call coincidences than purposeful and meaningful events....

I don't really believe in coincidences. I think everything happens for a reason, it just may take awhile to figure out what that reason is sometimes.

I think everything has a reason to be. I think that even when you made a mistake, that's the way you should go, that takes you to the right way. Can you understand me? Nothing is a coincidence. We ride are own path, we are owners of our destiny, and we walk to the way we have to go and be.

everything for a reason..there are no coincidences in this world. the universe has a plan for each of us and each encounter is what we need at that time in our lives. you can learn something from every situation and every person you 'run" into that you needed to learn.
