I know that the Italians are going to win it this year. They will beat Ukrain like 3-0. Then they will face either Germany or Argentina. They have already deafted Germany this year so my guess is that they can do it again. Italy can beat Argentina too. If they get to the Final they will either face Brasil or France and Italy will beat either of them. So Forza Italia.

LOL..nice dreaming! all the italians can do is fake injuries and whine to the ref's so the give other players yellow cards. They play like a bunch of little girls. Italy will not win the world cup, I'm sure of that, there's better teams, who play their heart out there and deserve it...unlike the whining bunch.

Unfortunately, other than the game against the Czech Republic, Italy has not looked that good. They got lucky in the games vs. USA and Australia. I don't think Italy will beat either Germany or Argentina. I think the finals will be a repeat of 2002, Germany vs. Brazil

i hope that italy may win the world cup but i have three favourite teams they are brazil , italy and germany but you are prefering argentina to germany.
germany is the better side and is the host country it might also be possible that germany may win like other host countries like uruguay in 1930, italy in 1934, england in 1966, germany in 1974,argentina in 1978, france in 1998.
host country has always home advantage.
the way germany is playing it should beat argentina , if germany can beat argentina then it can beat brazil too. i have no concern whether italy wins or brazil or germany.
but i wish italy.italy has good defense and it can improve the attack side too , italy has good stikers like totti , toni ,pla...
they equaluized the match against america just for the interest of usa.
don't underestimate italy.they won the penalty in last 50 second no one can it is an art it shows that will proof dark horse.
australia played well but italy never let australia to make a goal. they did not score goal in extra time can you see.

Italy can beat any of the other remaining 7 teams that are left.. I just can't wait to see all the excuses the other teams have when Italy defeats them. Forza Italia!!!!

I sincerely doubt Italy has it in them. The flair with which Germany, Brazil and France are scoring, they will definitely score goals irrespective of the great italian defense. And Germans and the French have shown that they are extremely strong defending. So my bets are with Germany, France or Brazil. Maybe England, but they really have to show improvement

Italy has too hard a road to make it out. They have to beat 2 of the 3 favorites to do it. And oh yea did i mention they shoudln't even be this far but because of an idiot referee and his penalty kick they are. That guy should've been carded for a dive and gone instead he gets a penalty in stoppage give me a break. Oh and Brazil who you think italy can beat manhandeled the australian team all game.

Italy only won against Australia because of a crap ref (1-0 at 95 min). Aus v Brazil was 0-2 by a fairly fair game. No way they can win. They suck in fact, and can all die horrible deaths.

yeah, italy definetly has a chance, although there are quite strong teams left aswell.
Brazil - favourites? (and they bet aus 2-0, whereas italy only bet aus 1-0)
Germany - home soil, some how an advantage?
Argentina - favourites aswell
England - needs to pick up their pace, although they might surprise us.
But, i think France is the black horse.
3-1 to spain? gotta acknowledge that.
