Don't think I've heard that slogan...but I think all Dunkin' Donuts closed here in San Antonio. Got a few Krispy Kreme's...their the best! Besides, I don't believe anyone can 'run' on donuts!

A lot of Americans are addicted to Caffeine.
So much so that they genuinely need it to function, or to be up and alert in the morning and throughout the day.
Much like a car requires gas to run, a caffeine addicted American would require caffeine to run. Thus, America runs of Dunkin because Dunkin is a popular brand of Coffee. Which, obviously, contains the drug we all know and love - Caffeine!

For our countless failures to act morally we deserve God's condemnation. By grace, we are spared from it. If you think America doesn't deserve it, go back through our history. I know someone will say it's time to forget that and move on. How would you feel if someone said: 9-11 was 7 years ago, time to forget that and move on. Same thing, but worse. We have a much heavier load of sin on our account than that.

Probably the sugar in the donuts and the caffeine and sugar in the coffee are the fuel that makes us run (literally) and "run" as in a motor.
