Of all of the places we have visited in south Asia, our favorites are Cambodia and Laos.
In Laos, stay for a minimum of 4-5 days in Luang Prabang. The city is very traditional and quaint while still being convenient for tourists. It won't retain its quaintness much longer. There are some beautiful waterfalls, great natural activities as well as leisurely walks through various bamboo villages, river-cave temples, and an unbelievable wildlife market. Go before it gets too touristy! Although very few people go to Luang Prabang, almost everyone I know who has gone agree that it's the best part of their south Asia trip.
Cambodia was almost as good as Laos. In Cambodia, go to Siem Reap where there are some amazing temple ruins. Angkor Wat is an incredible ruin, and Tomb Raider was filled in the ruins of Ta Prohm. The sights are pretty amazing. One warning: Go in the winter. We were there to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat on New Years, and the temperature was into the 100s ... in the middle of winter. We were told it gets much hotter in the summer!
Hope this is helpful!

Do you mean southeast Asia? If so, Boracay in the Philippines, and Bali in Indonesia.
