I had gone next door to have coffee and my friend had the TV on. I looked at the TV when I walked in and saw a plane fly into a building. I asked my friend what movie she was watching, and she said from the kitchen she wasn't watching a movie. My mind couldn't process that image as anything other than a movie. As I slowly came to the realization that the twin towers were attacked, I began to loose the strength in my legs. I had to go sit down, for fear of falling down. It was heart breaking and really rattled me. I have never felt vulnerable as a country, but after 9/11 and all the problems we are having with the government leaks and the newspaper reports of our intelligence works, I am feeling very vulnerable.

I was sleeping in my bedroom in Long Island, New York until my mother woke me up right after the plane hit the second tower. After that, it feels like I stayed awake and in front of the television for a week, and calling people up who I knew possibly could have been in the towers and/or the Pentagon and checking to see if they were okay.

At school.
Our school administrators refused to tell the students because they feared a school wide panic.
I found out about it on the bus ride home. The driver kept turing on new stations. Every station had a man/women on it saying "pray for the people in NYC." I was very confused and shocked when I found out what happened.
A very strange day...

I was waking up to start my morning, when it turned to disaster. I watch the morning news every morning. And believe me, my happiness turned to sadness. I felt sorry for everyone that died or was hurt badly, plus I also felt sorry for the Families.
