Hi! it might be a Small hardware compliant. Just remove ur CDROM and clean it. Clean every thing including the Lens using a soft dust cleaner. then check out the connections in the PCB wires. Be sure that all the Materials inside the drive should be placed correctly. Them check it out by giving only Powersupply and then connect it with the Datacable. It will solve the problem.... Try it now!!!

Probably either malicious spyware or a virus. I'd recommend downloading Spybot: Search and Destroy (free) or Ad-Aware SE Personal (free) and run them both, one after the other, to sweep your computer of spyware and adware. Then, if you have Norton or McAfee antivirus, run a full system scan. Hopefully that should fix your problem.
