Well, all i can say, is that the american commentators are struggling with the most popular sport in the world, just like the american soccer team. Its time they got someone who has "played the game" to commentate, rather than someone who thinks that he knows the game. I guess the same applies to the americal soccer team and the coach too! Time to play catch up.

HEY EUROS! You don't own the sport of soccer, people are free to say whatever they want, especially when the audience for these US commentators is American. I haven't heard them say headshot, and I doubt they have because that sounds retarded. But what's wrong with kick save? It's accurate and relatable for Americans who have less experience watching the sport.

The only reason is that they don't care. The only thing they know is baseball and basketball. Nothing else. They simply don't know soccer culture and are only confined in a small continent playing baseball.

because the u.s. commentators are crap and boring and do not know what they are talking about. i am american, and i am embarassed when they speak. they are not new terms, i think they are making them up to sound cool, but end up making fools of themselves in the end.

Because they're generally dolts. I want to strangle them when they call a clean sheet a "shut-out," too. Ugh.
