What did you think of it?

Yes -- and what a wonderful book it was. Actually, I read it twice. Once when I was eleven years old, and home in bed with the mumps. I really identified with the young boy. Then I re-read it when I was in my twenties and discovered there was a whole lot that I had missed the first time around -- like the fact that the young boy lived in a house of ill repute! (When the book was written you couldn't say whorehouse, so that was the polite euphemism.)
It is a classic and I recommend it highly.

I haven't read it, but I wish I had back in high school and college, when I took a lot of English classes with many novels to read. These days, I no longer enjoy reading the way I used to. :( Hopefully I can "bring back that lovin' feeling", becaue I think I'd be better rounded if I read more books. Anyway, this is neither here nor there... :)
