Whether you like to admit it or not, we've seen some STELLAR acting out there! Howling, diving, agonizing looks, limping, screaming... so, this year's best actor award (for individual player OR team) goes to....?

SoccerMind: Take it easy, will you? I didn't mean to start a fiasco amongst each other. We're just expressing our opinions here, but we don't need to get rude or nasty with each other! Most of us can agree on 1 thing: you don't have to be a professional player to spot a good actor---whether it's your favorite team or a team you don't care much about.

ITALY.

and no, this isnt because of the aus vs italy match. just in all their matches, its the same.

rolls on floor after being tapped on the shoulder. does a sumersault. grabs any uninjured body part. thinks unhappy thoughts. peeps at the ref.

lol, soccer_mind, incompetent? lonely? where are you even grabbing words out of? so its okay for you to say what you like because you know 'all about the sport' and everyone else is just inferior? funny, im not the only one who thinks that italy are great actors. You think its really easy to get pain from 'alot of running' and then a touch? have you ever watched american football? or australian football? They run too, and they're fine with tackles.

Either italians are really fragile, or they fake half the time.

Instead of belittling others, just express what and how you feel. This question asked for who WE thought were the biggest fakes, and we are free to express our opinions, whether you like it or not.

The Italians are the biggest fakes out there. Luca Toni is a great actor. The first game Italy played in the world cup, he acted as if the opposin player hit him really hard. the game stopped, they brought the stretcher in the field, he came out, got up the thing and all the sudden the pain was gone, I counted the seconds it tooked for him to be back in the game, it was so obvious, I just had to do it..88secs he was back in. Every game I've watched with the Italians is some sort of drama involved. I don't care who agrees with me and who disagrees, If you get mad at the questioner and answerees, then that's ur problem. I can't wait to see the Italians out of the tournament, I have no sympathy for players who go whinning like little girls to the ref's for cards, I know every team does it, but the italians don't even try to hide it.

Note to SoccerMIND- ITs obvious your an Italy fan, so your all pissed off about the truth. You are so ignorant to insult everyone's intelligence because not everyone agrees with your point of view. Soccermind? think not. You dare accused everyone here that they don't know what they are talkin about because they watch soccer on tv? Exactly what makes you an expert? really? I have been playing soccer since 7th grade, all through college. I can appreciate good acting skills on the field, and Italy should get the award for it. Its not anything agaisnt anyone, its about the respect for a game everyone loves so much, tainted by Ref's who don't know what to call, who often listen to player whinnin, instead of going with what's right and doing their job.-

For The Team, it surely goes to Italy but for The Player, Arjen Robben is the best actor in football ever.

Only ppl that have NEVER played SOCCER at certain level says the BS I see in the question and most of the previous answers!
You IDIOTS watch soccer from your couch in TV, slow motion replay, big screen TV.
Players on the field play full speed and tackles at that level of the game hurts, very much! Maybe few players accentuate their falls, but the large majority of the players play hard (because that is "the game")
People like "amyt" are not even worth of being taken in consideration! Incompetent, frustrated, lonely!

For "jam4207" I have clearly answered you, but seems you are not interested on other ppl opinion, you already are so certain of your nonsenses. I did not mention "my team" at all, but I have talked about soccer!!! As for "amyt", once again, not even worth...
