football or soccer is boring because you probably did not know what to enjoy in the game. People look how they players act, the best play, and the individual move that make football the most beautiful sport to play and watch. You gotta play it before to enjoy the game. It is the same as watching and waiting for a good play in American football or a good home run in baseball.

you are american. You call a game you play with your hand football..and the one you play with your foot soccer. Trust me you wont understand. Stick to the one you know and dont wonder you tender little brain about the real game of football. I cant take my eyes off it. And apparently neither the rest of the hundreds of millions who is poised in front of the Tv or the radio listening and watching the game. No other sporting event can unite the world like world cup football. Its not called the greatest show on earth for nothing baby

I am an American but I've lived in Europe. I love American Football and cannot stand soccer. The rest of the world is different. They live and breathe soccer. In a nutshell, there are over 6 billion people on Earth and only 250 million of us in the good old USA. If everybody else loves it, it is really popular.
We love fast paced action and lots of scoring. Soccer players and fans consider it a skill game. We see it as boring.

hey stop calling football a soccer. Call it by its real name...
who said that football is very boaring to watch on tv... people are dying to watch it on tv... look at the craze in europe, south america, asia, africa, australia.. every other continent except North America and antartica...
The only odd people are in US.. they dont watch it and say its boring.

The person who asks this question surely does not know the rules of the game. If you know the rules, it is definitely exciting - not boring. Just imagine you were the player in control of the ball.

it is not boring you have to really love the game, people could says the same about baseball with a no hitter but you have to love the game.
