Any tps on how to relieve the pain of a sore throat? I've tried gargling but it didn't help, it just made it taste salty.

chloraseptic spray works quick, numbs your throat. just dont miss and sprat your tongue, or that gets numb too! :P
you could try the lozenges too. good luck, sore throats suck. take some advil or tylenol, too. that helps with throat pain.

I am going through the same thing as you are right now. I cant sheke my sore throat and cold. It started like up in my nasal passage like behind my nose the went to my throat and is now on the left side of my throat and hurts really F-ing bad. I have been taking Tylenol Severe head congestion/multiple symptom and advil, drinkin hot tea and eatin cough drops and nothing works. Just gotta wait it out. Best of luck to you dear. Get well soon.

the gargling should be with warm water, with a bit of salt.

I put honey on my tonsils, it works out really well. Also try the honey cough drops.
