It is wrong for anyone to want to buy new clothes all the time. If one needs them, that is a different matter, but who can wear an entire closet full of clothes at once? And even fashion isn't that fickle. Do make sure the child isn't in the middle of a growth spurt, though. That will affect your purchases (slightly oversize so they last longer).

12 year olds always want new clothes all the time! If they're not buying the clothes with their own money, then it's VERY wrong for them to harass their parents about it.

No, most people your age, especially girls, will want to buy new clothes all the time to keep in with current and popular fashion styles. Just remember to buy things more for things you NEED, not things you WANT. Control your budget wisely. And don't spend every single penny on clothes. You need money to buy more important things...

No, its not wrong. Most women like to have nice material things and she is becoming a teen. She is putting down Brat and Barbie and picking up shoes, outfits, and boys. Her interests are starting to change. It is not wrong, it may be normal, but you should buget. You can't empty your purse because of her adolecent instincts. Let her get little cute things here and there, but tell her to get a job! That Spoiled brat!

I guess it's ok for him to want more clothes or newer clothes, that is if he would learn how to form a sentence properly as well as spell correctly.
