I totally agree, this is getting rediculous. Talk about sore losers. Aussies couldn't even get a shot on net and they are saying they got robbed. Plus Materazzi didn't deserve the red card so they were a man down the entire second half, defence was superb and the better team won. Please GIVE IT UP ALREADY!!. FORZA ITALIAAAAAAAAA

lol nope.. sorry
okay, so i admit that most the hype is probably created because this is the first time in over 30 years that the aussies qualified for the world cup, and alot of hopes were thrusted upon the socceroos.
But.. losing wouldnt have been a problem if there wasnt so much controversy about that penalty. We're not sore losers, except i guess everyone was just let down dramatically. If it was a nice and clean goal, then obviously we wouldnt be all against it.
Then again, look at all the other matchups so far and the biasedness in them all. You gotta admit that the officials are leaning towards the 'bigger' soccer nations. No doubt. Most of our anger is probably from that aswell.
So.. let us have our rant; if it bothers you so, dont go into the links which relates to the aus vs italy match.

You need to realise that there are people outside Australian's who do not share your opinions. You automatically just assume every supportive post comes from an Aussie. Well it doesn't. For every post about them you guys have posted twice. . You know you can not ask it to stop when your supporters too are keeping it going. It's over and done with and you won the game, we gained valuable experience. You are not without fault either and the Italian team is not perfect. Quit playing victim. Neither have been better than the other at times.

I live in Australia and have an Italian background so for that game i was neutral. Australia play with one thing that the Italians lack and that's heart. For Italy to win this tournament that's what they need

I completely agree with you Juventina. Australia have already lost and nothing they can do about it. Just get over it. You can always try again.

Count on me!!!
Then again, is like talking to a wall!!!
:)
Yep Juventina. Just look at comments like "andygurl"! We are talking about soccer... she does not have idea about how the game is played and yet, she needs to express her opinion (which I respect) that has NOTHING to do with soccer!
