men have too

I guess I can't properly answer, becuase unconditional love IS unconditional for me.
I love my bf. LOVE HIM. I don't care what things he does piss me off or what things I'd rather he didn't do or would do. Those things don't determine my love. If he never changes those habits I don't like, I'll still love him unconditionally.

Conditional love means I would only love him if he did everything I wanted in a man down to a T. That's impossible and it would be really boring after about a month. I don't want perfection. I want flaws and challenges and beauty. To me, perfection doesn't equal beauty. It equals fantasy.

You need to also understand that even though a woman might argue with you or fight about the status of your relationship right after she says she loves you... she is not trying to tell you that if you don't agree she won't love you anymore.
That's not how the good girls work. Maybe a dud would think that way. But then, you don't want someone like that anyway. Trust me.

Sorry on behalf of our sex for being difficult to grasp at times. It's the price we pay for our never ending thoughts on everything.

In my experience unconditional love isn't conditional. Unconditional means no matter what - but don't mistake it for being taken advantage of. If a guy is cheating on his woman and he wonders why she doesn't love him it's not because her love wasn't unconditional. When you betray someone they may love you, but it's just not healthy for them to stay with you because you are constantly hurting them.

i always think of unconditional love as a perfect love, but since I don't think that perfect love exits between humans ( only God) I don't think unconditional love does either. I mean really if your man hit you and did your best friend afterward while he made you watch, would you still love him and take him back? NO!! PS and no this didn't happen to me just tryin to be creative.

well unconditional love is mainly directed at your pets or family or kids, because you love them regardless of what they do, but in a love relationship it is not possible to have unconditional love because if your partner made a mistake and slept with someone else you could forgive but never forget really, so that's my opinion

LOL, seems that way, doesn't it? Unconditional love means you love someone regardless. Think a mother and her child. It doesn't mean you don't set limits are say when you don't like something. It just means you love someone, warts and all.

I love my husband unconditionally - but infidelity and/or abuse would be a condition that could and WOULD remove the "un" - Get it? The unconditional part comes with health and sickness, for richer or poorer, better or worse, but women are not God. They do not nor can they unconditionally forgive. i.e. infidelity and/or abuse.

There is no such thing as love without conditions. We choose to love BECAUSE of certain conditions. So love without conditions is not possible.

Oh for Gods sake...only a woman would ask this....
and only a woman could possibly lay down so many 'conditions' for 'love'.
