I've got your love right here! My question is who doesn't really love or have love? Come on now...and why the heck don't you? It's not that hard lol and I'm not just talking about all the 'physical bf/gf garb' I mean for your fellow human beings show some love like the man said!! I love... Yahoo! Answers lol if I didn't well I wouldn't be answering your question, doing nice things for people anything my 'random acts of kindness', love my mom, my job, friends, dog all the usual things, I love smiling at people when they walk past, not a smirk like 'i know something you don't' but a nice polite smile is all (maybe make their day who knows), cooking (thats my job), helping people out (another reason why I'm on here...it's a win win situation I give my knowledge/imput...and your happy, so therefor I'm happy).

What can I say I'm an optimistic person, so yea here's your love baby!!

Perhaps you have asked this in jest; I am not a psychic. All I know is that it is possible to lose love and it is possible to get it back. Perhaps you asked this question not for yourself but for someone who is reading this question/answer right now.

Love comes from within you. If you seem to have lost it, it can still be found but it comes from the exercise "the opening of the heart."

Here is one wedge to open the heart. I give it freely to you. Do with it as you will.

When you are at a stop light or parked anywhere for a brief moment, look over to a car next to you. A quick glance is all you need. Do not get into staring.

You see that person over there? Make up a story about that person. Give that person a name. It is Aunt Sally. Tell yourself a brief story about her (make it a loving story). Aunt Sally always gave you her National Geographic magazines which you loved to read when you were a kid. You learned so much. She always remembers your birthday and sends you strange cards from far off countries and towns you know she has never even visited. You and she always have planned to visit the pyramids of Egypt. You told her the first time you were kissed. You told her and nobody else. You would trust her with anything and everything.

There. That is enough. How do you feel about that total stranger in the car next to you? How is your heart? Keep doing that. Keep telling yourself stories that are filled with just small details, loving stories about people. Open your heart. Let them in line in front of you (if it does not cause a wreck.) You don't have to tell anybody about doing this. You may if you wish. It is kind of a fun game if you have someone you trust enough to share it with.

Now, after you have done that for awhile, start telling yourself stories about people you actually know. They can be fiction to begin with . You can blend in some truth and then leaven it with some whoppers. I mean, who would have thought Bert (of Bert and Ernie on Sesame St.) would have the world's biggest paperclip collection?

Finally, tell yourself stories about people you love. Be careful. Understand that when we love people we are already telling ourselves stories, many of them fiction, about the objects (word chosen deliberately) of our affection.

It is when we find that we have been telling ourselves fiction, deluding ourselves, that the "disillusionment" (great word) sets in. Can you still find stories that use the truth and make them loving stories? Can you find the love you have for the real person behind the fictitious stories you used to tell?

So, in my love for humanity, my wish for you and those reading this to become more loving, I see you reading this and trying it. I see you recalling how people have loved you and see you finding things to love about people. I see the world changing one person at a time. I see the world getting better.

Thanks for asking.

The love is in the smile of a stranger, the arms of a loved one, the greeting of the dog, the purring of the cat, the person who lets you in front of them in line, or in traffic. The love is still there, it is just harder and harder to find eeryday anymore.
You can find love in kindness, in gentleness.
The best way to find love is to give it away first.

Love is all around and all you have to do is give love and ye shall receive back. Maybe study the true meaning of love and you will find it.
