Referees have >50000 people watching their every call. + over a billion people watching them on TV. That is a LOT of pressure. They are humans after all, they can have flaws too.

On the other hand, they are professional, so they should behave accordingly.

In that game per say, there could have been bad calls but since FIFA do not want to use replay in match, they were not able to review the famous penalty call (and many other calls). To me it was not evident either way. If I was the ref, I would have called it. After reviewing it, not so sure anymore...

in case you watch Buffon attempting to maintain consequences, you could tell that he would have had a really difficult time in a penalty shootout. hostile to France, he not in any respect got here on the point of saving even one penalty, he went the incorrect way on all of them, Trezeguet's would have lengthy gone in had it no longer hit the placed up. In surprising lack of existence, i'm certain Barthez would have ended up saving one earlier Buffon ever might want to, because I talked about him pass the right way some cases. Now I too, do not comprehend a lot about the Australian goalkeeper, yet he did come extremely on the point of saving that one which Totti took, so i extremely imagine he would have managed to maintain a minimum of one if it had lengthy gone to a shootout. to allow you to comprehend the reality, having Buffon guarding your objective in a penalty shootout is like having no individual there in any respect. some years in the past, I talked about Buffon saving consequences, yet now he has lost the potential for some reason, so he won't be able to be relyed upon in a shootout in any respect. I say Australia would have come out with the victory. Juventina: Did you no longer see Buffon's performance hostile to France in the course of the shootout? how are you going to believe he would have kept any after seeing him thoroughly fall the incorrect way anytime, not in any respect even coming close? because one might want to be unaware of imagine that Buffon is nice at saving consequences.

if a referee wants to ever work again he will not take sides in an international event like FIFA ... it looked more like Italy conned him into beleiving there was a foul against totti ... so he got a penalty shot ... cheating nevertheless.
