Everyone else was off buying cigarettes, but the first thing I said when I turned 18 was, "Yeeesss, now I can finally marry Julia Roberts legally!"

i was sad and glad at the same time cause of the memory it brought back. we lived in 2 places, i bug my mom to cook me something for my 18th birthday, so she need to see me in the city and leave my dad with my 2 younger brothers in the farm. she arrive safe in the city carrying my request noodles and sweet rice.

that night, my dad and brothers encountered the worst nightmare of their lives. some thieves are stealing our cows, they spray bullets through the whole house and almost kill my dad, he was bleeding though and my brothers run like hell.

if i didn't bug my mom to cook me those special foods, she probably dead by now. she is still alive thank god and just gotten married for the second time on monday.

Well is funny cause I dint make a big deal when I turn 18...but my family did They brought me gifts, balloons saying happy birthday, gather all my friends and they got me a cake.It was a bit overwhelm. But my curfew was lifted that day and I been having a pretty normal life it feels like nothing happened.Expect that people take me seriously now.

Nothing special in the 60's you had to be 21 to do anything legally. I did not vote in my first presidential election until I was 23.

You "Know it all"!
I like your style! Also, I wish you are not a smoker! Smoking hurts!
All the best to you and your loved ones!
Well, when I turned 18, I had a party with dozens of friends invited; we spend most of the night eating, drinking, discussing, dancing and singing! I was so happy to enjoy this time with my friends!

On my 18th birthday, I was at school. I had a huge Adv. English IV test that I couldn't miss. After the exam, a bunch of my friends and I signed ourselves out of school. They gave me a McDonald's birthday party (it was an inside joke) and then we did things that we enjoyed from elementary school. We played hopscotch, jump rope, and went skating.

Childish, yes...But it was fun and I'll never forget it.

JULIA ROBERTS??? When she smiles, she could probably eat you for lunch. Go for Jaime King or Vivica Fox.
