I have heard so many things, does anyone know the real reason?

ABC had decided against renewing Star's contract months ago and the show was planning to let her announce it later this week, but she had other plans..........Star was quoted in People magazine as saying she felt like she was fired.

Rosie O'Donnell has been signed on to take Meredith Viera's place on The View. Back when Starr lost weight, Rosie went on her website and on tv and lashed out at Starr and told her to admit that she had gastric bypass surgery and didn't lose weight by JUST exercise. Ever since then, they two have hated each other. Well, they signed on Rosie and apparently they did not renew Starr's contract. She was supposed to make the announcement at the END OF THE WEEK that she will not be returning next season - but she surprised EVERYONE including Barbara Walters by making her announcement yesterday. Then she went on to other interviews lashing out at The View and Barbara Walters saying that she felt like she got fired. The View got upset that she announced it too early AND spoke negatively about the show and cast that they abruptly "let her go" the very next day.

They didn't re-new her contract, and I also heard because Rosie is coming on The 5th and she doesn't like Star she said Star had Gastro-surgery and they the view women said that Star had become a ***** since she had lost weight

Because he is a homophobic atheist-hater. Not that Rosie is an atheist, but I am, and she said she would never vote for an atheist for president.

They didn't wanna renew her contract, in other words, she got fired i guess. And that's probably 'cause Rosie O'Donnell will be taking Meredith's place and Rosie and Star don't get along well.

Cuz she fat and everybody hates her..nah im kiddin (kinda) but the other members of the view obviosly didn't like her and they needed a spot for rosie o'donald.

She said that they forced her out, they didn't want to renew her contract, especially since Rosie is going to be in her place and they don't get along.
