Only one: Read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. It will give you all the information you need to conceive as quickly as possible (which will depend on your individual biology).

Please don't bother with online ovulation calendars. They only give you an *average*. By definition, an average is usually *wrong*. For instance, if you were to assume *every* woman were 5'4" tall because that's average, you would rarely be correct.

And ovulation predictor kits are often wrong for a number of reasons. Charting your own fertility signs will give you more precise information.

"Just relax, it will happen" may well work in a few cases, but it is *not* a reliable way of increasing fertility. If it happens, it is a fluke. Keep in mind that women who are all stressed out about not getting pregnant *weren't* all stressed out about it when they *first* started trying--and they didn't get pregnant then, either!

There are so many things, i don't know where to start...
1. Track your ovulation- buy a ovulation predictor kit ( any drugstore). If you've never done that before, go with a digital one since it takes the guessing out. Read the instructions carefully and make sure you take the test in the afternoon- the LH hormone that they detect needs some time to make it into ur urine, so the 1st morning urine is not a good option. When the test comes out positive, the ovulation will follow the next 12- 36 hours. That's the time you want to have intercourse.
2. Go online and google " ovulation calculator ", you get plenty of sites to choose from. Log on, enter ur data and you will get ur possible fertile days for every month.
3. Before intercourse do not douche or wash INSIDE with anything but water.
4. When having an intercourse, try the missionary position or the doggie style since they allow better penetration.
5. After intercourse, do not jump right away- stay in bed with a SMALL pillow under ur hips for about 20-30 min.
6. After intercourse, do not pee immediately, do not take a shower right after because you risk washing out the semen. You can do all that an hour and a half, two hours later.
7. If you're already trying to have a baby, start taking folic acid, 400 mg daily- it doesnt help u conceive but it minimizes the risk of birth defects by about 70-80 %.
8. Of course, stop smoking and drinking, if you do, and have ur guy try to stop too ( this can be a tough one, i know :)
9. Don't freak out !!!! A healthy couple has only about 25 % chance to conceive within each cycle, so its perfectly normal if it doesnt work immediately. I know, from personal experience, that its really hard not to obssess but studies have shown that too much stress, too much calculating actually decrease ur chances to succeed.
10. Don't forget that lovemaking is also supposed to be fun, not just babymaking :)

I am sure everything will work fine for you.

GOOD LUCK !!!!

Are you extremely asking this question? no longer to be recommend yet I easily were TTC #a million for 15months. If there turned right into a short person-friendly way evidently to get pregnant i'd be! also no longer to sound like your mom yet get married first then imagine about a baby. Why deliver a touch one into this international with a father that would or gained't be there? a minimum of if you're married you realize he has fairly made the dedication to be with you and the baby. do not only on the drop of a hat confirm to get pregnant because it sounds like a sensible decision on the time. do a touch intense wondering about this. evaluate you a at the same time as, position to stay, jobs, well being care, lengthy time period plans etc. Its no longer a domestic dog its a existence lengthy responsibility and that i imagine a touch one is a present that must have each little thing it benefits no longer a number of it.

Before one actually tries to conceive, it seems like it will happen immediately! Truth be told, many women take up to a whole year to conceive. After that year, doctors may intervene with medical help.

Perhaps a good place to start is to determine if you are ovulating. Most women ovulate 14 days after the first day of their last period. You can do ovulation tests around that time to determine when you are ovulating. If you do not get a positive result, a doctor may help you to ovulate by starting you on a medicine called clomid.

Some women slightly elevate their hips for 20 minutes after intercourse, to ensure that more of the sperm comes in contact with the cervix. 20 minutes is an adequate amount of time, because after that time, any sperm that did not enter, will be killed by the differing pH of the vagina. Some women however, choose to use 'instead' cups, which are more commonly used for one's period.

There is also something called 'Fertility Tea', or a similar name. Apparently, it will help you to conceive.

Some women have also tried half a tablespoon of cough syrup for a few days before ovulation, claiming that it helps to thin out the lining of the uterus, hence making it easier for the baby to implant itself into the uterine wall. I'm not sure if it's safe to try, or even if it works - but it's just another tidbit of information for you!

For the average couple, having sex once per day provides the best chance of getting pregnant.

The woman-on-top position isn't great for pregnancy, since ejaculate may flow out.

FACTS:
Most women have a 15 to 25 percent chance of getting pregnant during their cycle.
Nearly 50 percent of couples conceive during the first 3 months.
About 75 percent of couples conceive during the first 6 months.
Up to 90 percent of couples conceive during the first year.
On the average, there are 280 days from the first day of your last period to your due date

well there are ovualtion kits you can try im doing them now and they are great !!! you buy them at the drug store or any shop that sells pregnancy stuff... you buy an ovulation kit for 5 days it comes with 5 peeing cups and 5 tests you do one test a day for 5 days at the same time every day.... it sort of looks like a pregnancy test but for ovualtion.... it comes up positive when you are at your highest and that means you are going to ovulate in 24 - 36 hours so you have sex on the day you get a positive and the day after....its worked for alot of women thats just an easier thing to try so that when you know you are most fertile you can plan a romantic evening and just enjoy the night instead of worrying the WHOLE month about making sure that you and your husband had sex on certain days so goodluck and for the future CONGRATS

well i know this will sound crazy but it worked for me, i was married 6 years before i got pregant, i wanted a baby so bad, then after six years of trying i finally gave up and told my husband i guess i was not ever going to have a baby so i gave up on trying and just forgot about it, then about 2 or 3 months later i was pregant, but watch out cause after the first then they come quick, it seems like after the first i never had any more trouble, they just come left and right, but i have 3 wonderfull daughters now and i am so blessed.

Try to be patient. The more you want it to work, sadly for some, can take longer than expected.
It may sound crazy or impossible, but try not to focus all your energy on becoming pregnant. In some cases, the less you think about it, the more likely it works.
Good Luck.
