I can only comment on Blackberry and Palm.

I had a Palm device, no phone and later got a Blackberry with phone. If I had it to do over, I'd get a Palm OS device with a phone instead.

the new treo 700 from verizon wireless is windows and treo is great! it has everything. don't get a motorola. the blackberry is really just email. samsung is decent if you don't like the treo
