i dont understand. we are such ignorant americans. im ashamed to call myself american. thank goodness my parents were born in poland so technically im polish. why is it that in america the wrong ways of doing things are being pushed so much. when God comes down he may be very sad to send people to hell...i just dont know, abortion...happens because people carelessly have sex and want to kill the baby. we are killing so much of our future through abortion. and then gay marriage isnt helping either. those people cant reproduce. the only thing they are producing are STDs. in the bible it says God made Adam and Eve... not Adam and Steve. where is America going?? we are headed in the wrong direction. while watching MTV, theres enough bleeping and sex to last a lifetime. theres no way a person can stay pure minded in this culture. everything is so messed up here in america. americans are soo ignorant. and dont tell me im a hater. i love americans, but most of us are stupid. even me sometimes

Your post could've been made even 10 years ago and have been as fitting then as it is today. Of all societies, America has the most depraved one, because everybody does the same thing. Conservative individuals like you or me are few and far between. They even make shows about the question, "Who is the father?" It can easily be seen that there are no values and no restraint in American society, but we as individuals fed up with it can be unique and uphold high standards in the midst of it all. All that matters is that we stay the course and avoid compromising and becoming part of the wild and treacherous ways of society, the entertainment industry, and the scene of peers. Kids are never taught here not to worship their peers, and that is exactly what they end up doing. Since almost every crazy thing has already been tried, every year gets more and more treacherous. America is the richest land in the world, but it also has the highest crime rate and lowest moral standards. Some people make it their purpose to shoot down morals, and they think they are accomplishing something, whereas really, all they are doing is creating and facilitating a more corroded society. Things will one day change, and there are also small groups of individuals that say 'no' to treachery and wrecklessness. That should be somewhat encouraging. The world will one day be in order and peace, without violence and without carelessness and immorality, but that is not going to happen for a while...

First off, I must say you should never be ashamed of being an American. No matter what happens, always back your country up. Second of all, I HATE President Bush, but support the troops...100% and I do not understand how you can say abortion is killing...You do not understand each person's scenario or situation of the woman. My cousin had an abortion, but she had too...my cousin was raped by a "friend" of hers, she was in college and wouldn't be able to care or afford a child...How can YOU tell ME I cannot marry whom I choose? Third of all, I do not believe in God so that bible talk just isn't working. Fourth of all, it saddens me and angers to think that Christians are picking and choosing their battles. If you read the bible much closer, you will read underneath of the part where it says marriage is between a man and a woman that all children who disobey their parents shall be stoned to death...Anyway, it does not state ANYWHERE in the Bible that God condemns and hates gays...God didn't even WRITE the Bible, a lot of people did and they wrote what THEY believed was proper and the right way of living...why would you want people to reproduce if they might get an abortion, anyway? This brings me to another point, the FCC is out of control with power...They censor and block everything they are able to get their greedy little hands on...America is supposed to be free, with no limitations or censorship...That's what makes us the most powerful and free country in the world. It's religious yuppies who are destroying and turning this nation back to the 1800's...The whole reason our ancestors came to America from Europe was to escape religious persecution...It's not Americans who are ignorant, but the close-minded idiots who think that censorship and ignoring the reality that life is full of sex and that there is no God who are ignorant...

People like you make me feel like crying. It seems strange that someone can be so blind. "abortion happens because people carelessly have sex and want to kill the baby..." I have never heard such an incorrect simplification. You should take a few minutes out of your day to get on the internet and research the subject, because you are just making yourself sound ignorant. "THOSE people can't reproduce" yeah, you are right ...THOSE people can't reproduce, but how does that make America stupid? Because it makes us go down the wrong path? I don't want to get into a religion debate but THOSE PEOPLE have every right to be who they want to be, the same as you.

As for pure mindedness, that is up to you. You don't have to watch MTV, and you don't have to stay in your little close minded box. That is what is GREAT about America. You should be proud to be from this country, not ashamed.

Like I said before.... try to understand what you are talking about before you go spouting off nonsense. I feel slightly embarrassed for you, actually.

Not just America, but the entire world is going in the wrong direction, but the problems are not abortion or gay marriage. The problem is the fact that people simply do not accept each other's life choices. Sure, you may believe that certain things are wrong, but you have to realize that you are not God; you are simply human and therefore equal to everyone else. What is ruining us as a species is our arrogance and belief that we are somehow above everything else on the planet -- both on a biological and individual level. Humans believe they are superior to any other species, and certain humans believe their way of life is superior to other people's. No matter how strongly we may hold our convictions, not one of us knows for an absolute fact what is right and what is wrong, and for every person on earth who believes one thing, there is another who believes the exact opposite just as strongly.
If we wish to save ourselves, the first thing we as a species must accept is that we do not rule the earth and that there are certain things we do not and can not know. We must accept all points of view as equally valid. This does not mean we are not allowed to have our individual beliefs. It is natural, of course, to agree with one's own opinions. If we didn't, then they wouldn't be our opinions. However, we must bear in mind that we don't know for sure, and that we have to respect other people's opinions or choices, especially if we expect them to respect ours.

Just count your blessings and be glad that your smart enough to be aware of these issues as most of the lost souls you see around you aren't. Talking of God, you best thank him that you live in this country. If you have ever traveled abroad, you know what I'm talking about.

But agree with you very much. I think in short you are trying to say this is a very individualistic country. A "me me me" "what can you do for me" country. It's really bringing the U.S. down in a ball of flames.

I really feel America resembles Rome; before IT fell.

And since America is an individualistic country we cannot unite anymore to take care of the issues we need to, such as high taxes with no healthcare. The constant inflation and gouging going on. Just to name a few......

The standard of living in America is being lowered at the same time the standard is being raised in the 3rd world.

Why else would this be the only nation that will not make it a crime to sneak across a national border.

There are much worse places to live. If you put to paper the person you want to be and the type of people you want to be with you may be in for a shock.

Because of Adam and Eve and their poor decisions humans have been "sentenced" to the world we now inhabit. One of the morals of Adam and Eve's story (at least for me it is) is that temptation and weakness has been around since the begining of mankind. The answer is to believe in God, trust that Jesus is our saviour and do our best to be a good Christian. We will fall, but we can get back up. It is also important to remeber that it is not our place to pass judgement on others because although you may believe homosexuals are sinners and that individuals who have abortions are as well do not forget that we ALL sin....they may not be the same sins but we all do sin! Also remember, mankind's history has never been pretty. It is filled with lies, sex, adultry, slavery, racism, murder etc...and has been ever since Eve took a bite of that apple. Don't get too discouraged...PRAY and do your best to be the best you can be.

I under no circumstances imagine that by utilizing ignoring racial alterations in our society would opt for the racial subject matters there. we received't ignore racial complications in any respect. yet we could recognize and understand it. we could draw close we are all residing contained in the international consists of of thousands of diverse race. we could do not forget that we are no longer the in person-friendly words man or woman who stay in this planet. We truly share the total international with such a great number of different diverse races available. we could understand that we are no longer the middle of the universe. human beings genuinely are animals. So, the analogy is that if all those animals underwater - or in Africa or everywhere they are - somewhat can stay altogether in peace and team spirit, why human beings can not even as we are all animals as well?

People have no good examples or heroes and there are too many who selll their soul for drugs making them less productive. We have global warming and the government could care less. Corruption is rampent and nothing is done. We have come far from Roy Rogers and Dale Evans and "Happy Trails". Yes this country and its residents are not doing well.
