No, but life is not a necessary thing either. It can be viewed as just another STD.

But love gives meaning, motivation and enjoyment to each day.

yes, but not romantic love. One has to love something to give ones life meaning. start with yourself.

Love of someone, but not necessarily sexual. Even a family member counts.
