I am a perfume freak! I have a collection. Soft and subtle scents vary by skin but the best feminine perfumes that I have are Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel and Miss Dior Cherie by Christian Dior. Both these perfumes are very romantic and sweet. Flirty perfumes, I recommend, Chance by Channel and Dior Addict 2 by Christian Dior. Also Lacoste, A touch of pink. For special occassions, I use a small amount of Jeanne Paul Gaultier's Classic. You can try going by the perfume counter and sampling the different scents. Remember that a perfume that smells good on someone else may not always work with your body chemistry. Good luck!

What is or is not too strong is different for each of us. But the one I prefer is White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor. It has a wonderful scent to me without being overpowering.
Of course, with any perfume, the key is moderation of applying it.. a drop on the pulse points is all that's need. the inside of each wrist, the point of the elbows, the temples, in front where your neck joins your chest, the back of your neck. the back of your knees and the outside of each ankle.
Even with the lightest of perfumes, I've seen women who were so overpowering you'd swear they showered themselves in it.

I have to disagree on the poison that is pretty strong as is patchouli. Those two smells can't be worn by just anyone and can be offensive if on the wrong person.
Light smelling I would have to go with Estee Lauder's Pleasures Exotic or Ralph Laurens' Romance they are very light.

I would have to agree clinique happy is pretty good and not strong. I also love "aqua di gio" and "360" by Perry Ellis. Those are pretty light. Also the new Paris Hilton one is good. That one is pretty light. Stay away from any musk perfumes!! Those smell the strongest and nastiest!!!

I use a perfume that smells FAB-U-LOUS and it's inexpensive.
It's called Romance from the Breathe collcetion at Bath and Body Works.

I love Poison. it is an old school perfume, but I remember my mom wearing it. It smelled so suttle on her. She still wears it today.

the victoria's secret body spray are a light scent and come in many different choices so you can choose what fits you..I love the Strawberries and champagne
