The game was boring. It really wasn't that good sorry. The playoffs and the NFL set the standard too high I guess. Not taking anything really from the Seahawks. Neither side played that good. As to the Bad calls they were on BOTH sides. Even if you BLAME the bad calls, how do you excuse the POOR clock managment, AND the dropped balls. Now you want a game that should have been the Superbowl look at the Colts and Steelers game. There was EXCITEMENT in that game. That last two minutes pretty much everyone was on the edge of their seats. I mean yeah the Seahawks tried. Yeah the balls were slippery. Still the game just wasn't that good. Oh and the Seahawk fans that have comment for the most part so far shows WHY the Steeler fans don't like them.

I was not impressed with the super bowl with all the penalties and poor offensive performances by both the steelers and the Seahawks.
Seattle fans can feel ripped off but when it comes down to it, penalties or not, the offense couldn't get the ball in the end zone at the end of the half and at the end of the game. Whether Ben got the ball in the endzone or not, all I can say is I've seen that call before with Testaverde back in 1998.
I'm happy for Bettis in retiring with the super bowl trophy...not all veterans can put that down as an accomplishment.
I'm over the game, it's history, and now I'm looking forward to the journey to Miami in February 2007 when the Seahawks rise to the top where the pre-season polls will be justified.

There was one questionable call. Ben's TD. OK, call it back, Steelers still win. The pass offense pass interference call was correct, it the push changed he momentum of the defender. Holmgrens clock management in the second half didn't help Seattle either. Alexander was shut down. Seattle and other Steeler haters will continue to whine for a long time. Get over it.

face it...WE WON...WE PLAYED BETTER FOOTBALL WHEN IT MATTERED. i wish all you hawk fans would stop crying, it's getting on my nerves...NO, we did not play our BEST game for the bowl but all that means is the hawks played WORSE than we did...we earned the right to be there just like the hawks (even though carolina shoulda spanked 'em!!) bad calls...hey, ,the STEELERS know more about bad calls than ANY team in the league...GET OVER IT...a TRUE champion can over come these calls and still pull through. the hawks didn't so obviously they're not TRUE champions. the obstacles that the steelers overcame to even get to the playoffs and then to the bowl were more crucial than a few bad calls...it was our destiny...jerome's, ben's, the whole team's and the city's...destiny...BLACK AND GOLD DESTINY...and like i told some one else it's about time for another dose so...bend over, take it, and love it.

I know how you feel. Personally I work in a hotel and come across Pitts burp stealer fans too many times a month. They look like the cat that ate the canary.
They know it was not fair from the start.
They were selling those stinking towels in all the stands.
The fans drove down to the stadium so it was like 191 fans to our 1 fan.
The refs blew all the calls and stole our momentum.
They know they only won because the deck was stacked in their favor.
It was like we were in one of those old westerns, playing cards.
And they ask, "What do you have?" And you say I have three aces, and they say, Sorry, partner...I have 4 aces...you lose!"
That's how fair the freak in game was!

I'm a Seahawk fan , I thought that was a somewhat fair game but the Seahawks choked with 2 minutes left in both halves and they can't blame the refs for that and I did think that Ben scored

I live in Pittsburgh and Steeler fans are gauche. They are fanatics who don't have anything else in their pathetic lives (and pathetic city) than the Steelers.
