Twice, the first time was under the influence of LSD, some would say that doesn't count, but I remember it vividly. I rocked (like in a rocking chair) out of my body and went to the ceiling and looked down on my body, I continued up and up and up finally hovering in space looking down on the earth. I immediately had a sense of being one with EVERY THING and knowing ALL THERE IS. I felt so big. Then I went back down into my body.
The second time there were no drugs involved, I had quit doing LSD or anything else hallucinagenic, I guess I outgrew it. It happened during a meditation class. It was a timed class. 30 minutes on an alarm clock. The minute I started repeating my mantra I started rocking again, and then spinning through a tunnel. When I arrived at my destination I was hovering over the house I grew up in, or at least what was left of it. It had been blown up by thousands of bombs on their way to southeast Asia (Viet Nam era), they were loaded on trains and just started exploding. They went off for 3 days. Physically I couldn't get ahold of any of my family because all the lines were down so I was pretty stressed, not knowing if they were alive, dead, ok, or what. I think God knew I needed an answer so he brought me there in astral projection. At first I was just awestruck at what I was seeing, so He gave me a moment. Then I remembered my concerns. I no sooner had that thought than He told me everyone was ok. It wasn't a voice, it was an unquestionable knowledge that was passed to me. At that moment I heard an alarm going off so I spun my way back to my meditation class, 3 states away. I was literally speechless for several hours at this experience.
The next day I was finally able to get through to my sister and she confirmed what I had learned in my travels.
A lot of people don't believe me about the bombs going off but I'll bet you can google it and prove it if you don't believe me. It happened in the Antelope / Roseville, California area in the early 70's. it was the same year the Watergate Hearings were going on, I don't remember the year, April, I think. The bombs broke windows in the capitol building less than 20 miles away. The national guard had to come in and block off the area so no one could come close the the danger zone. If I remember correctly there were around 70,000 bombs. All my family that were living there have great escape stories. And I have a great Astral Projection story.
Is it any wonder I have faith in God?

Well my sister had astral traveled before because of this one spell we did. She came back and told us that she and her boyfriend went to the school and they kind of just hovered in the air for a while. When she came back she said it was a GREAT experience. It is actually pretty easy to do. Here is a technique:
Here are four commonly used techniques to initiate astral travel. It is a very good idea to limit yourself to exploring your immediate location when you are a beginner. Don't be too adventurous until you get the hang of it. Slow and easy is best.
Imagine yourself levitating. In the same way that you relax your body for meditation imagine your body getting lighter and lighter and then try to see your body lying comfortably from above. Visualize the astral leaving the physical body. Explore the room you are in.
Use a large mirror to view yourself and your surroundings. Then mentally visualize what you've just seen with your physical eyes especially your face. At this point transfer your point of view to the mirro as if you were seeing yourself from that location. With your eyes closed try to see the room from different angles.
Close your eyes and visualize yourself. Try to see yourself through those visualized eyes. Look around room and then begin walking around it examining everything you come across.
Sit or lie comfortably and relaxed. Close your eyes and concentrate on your slow, rhythmic breath (same technique as for meditation). Slow your breath down while you imagine you are walking (where doesn't matter). Visualize a gateway ahead and a figure standing on other side. Become the figure on other side. Slowly get used to the new body - rember... slow and easy.
When you are ready to return to your body, stand behind your head and visualize reabsorbing your astral energy back into your physical body. It becomes much easier (both leaving and returning) with practice.

No one really has. A few years back some millionaire in California challenged all psychics and people who claimed to have "psi" talents. His challenge varried from levitating, to bending a spoon with his mind. It was covered in my local paper and I remember some 100 well known "psi-tryers" went out there. Basically, all he wanted was for someone to do it in front of him for a million dollars. Long story short, no one could and the few people that came close were using illusions.
While, I'm not arguing mediation, because I myself meditate, I'm just helping people see the line between the mental and the physical world.

Have you ever had a dream where you are on top of a building or a cliff? That's your astral self. Then you fall of the cliff or building. That's your astral self jumping back in your body. That's when you wake up.

I'm not sure if this counts >> Did not happen to me.>>
A close relative of mine was in a serious car accident (under the influence) and was in a coma for 2 months. She remembers coming to all family events during her coma. If you look closely at our family pictures taken during those 2 months, you'll see a reflection of my close relative's face on things like windows in the background or reflections of her on shiny objects.
All pictures that my relative shows up in has the same background of the hospital off in the far distance that she stayed in during her coma.
You think that was wierd the windows she showed up in went missing the same day she awoke from her coma >> they were somehow mysteriously and carefully removed while we were less than 10 feet away facing the windows. >> there one second gone the next. As for the shiny objects, somehow they are now non-reflective.

Shortly after meeting my 3rd husband, he flew into my bed one night. Really creepy. I woke up, well there was aaaa...evidence?? ya know, that someone was there!!! But I was alone. A couple weeks later, I started to tell him about it, he finished telling me in great detail what had happened!! Over the 7 years I was with him, I heard at least 6 people tell him that they had a dream that he came to them, took their hand and taught them how to fly!!! That ain't what he did to me!
