The National Geographic site says the Atacama Desert in Chile. The Geography Zone site says the Dry Valleys in Antarctica. Both sites are chock full of professional climatologists. If even the experts cannot agree, how are you going to choose the 'most correct' answer?

If you mean the place with the least precipitation - then there are areas of the Atacama desert where rainfall has never been recorded.

Antarctica has so much ice around - even in areas where ther is very little rain/snow - that it can hardly be described as 'dry'.

So, Atacama desert, I think.
