I think I just revealed to my guy friend that myself and a friend of mine have bad crushes on him. We've been semi-fighting about him, and we promised to tell no one, but I was stupid, and thought he could help me, so I asked for his advice in an indirect way. I didnt directly tell him, but he pretty much guessed, and I think he knows. So, how do I get him to like me better than her with being a b*tch? And, what do I tell my friend? I'm hoping he'll keep it between us, but I'm afraid he'll tell her that I told him!
Thanks!!

Why would you betray your friend to get a guy to like you? He is going to like who he likes, and someone may get hurt in the process, but at least it would have been a fair shot for either of you. You may have jepoardized both the friendship and the potential relationship by revealing too much and forming an alliance with him against her to keep your secret. No guy is worth losing your friend. You need to come clean with your friend and let the guy choose who he wants in the end. Maybe you are both better off without him.

I can't read your mind, but it appears that you went to ask the guy friend for his "help" in an effort to get one up on your other friend. Surely there was someone you could have asked without bringing the person over whom you're in competition with your friend for into the mix. And there is no way to make him like you better without being a b*tch. If you and your friend want to stay friends with each other and the guy, it would probably be best to for all of you to forget about the entire conversation.

You should tell her first, if you want to stay friends with her. If she finds out from someone else, she'll be pissed. As for him liking you better, just be yourself. Don't make it a competition between you and your friend. Boys aren't worth it.

you've got yourself in a unique predicament haha if either of you act on him, it will hurt the other so....give it time? since he knows now, just hang out with him, flirt obviously, and just try to get him to liike you to begin with...cause if he doesnt, that does no good to you lol dont bad mouth your friend cause then you do seem like a b-tch, as of now, i say just get him interested in you

and yeah tell your friend that he knows....she WILL get pissed if she finds out from any one else, especially from him

Just ask the guy out. And as for your friend, she'll have to get over it. Did she think you could both have him or something??

I agree with just_claire. Tell your friend first before he gets a chance to do so.
