She just can't, unless she is very, very tough, at an almost superhuman level.
I hate to say that, but let's be realistic, you really have to make a choice. If you want to make career, you must agree not be master of your time anymore. Now I'm not saying that professional women are bad mothers and/or wives, but they definitely can't expect to provide the same availability as housewives to their family.
Whatever your choice is, it is respectable but it is definitely a choice, you can't have both.

life is choices!!!!!! You pick one and usually something else has to give, unless you're superlative (or superhuman) or blessed with an excellent family to begin with, luck of the draw.
