english is my second language and it's hard for me to answer some of the questions i have on this application

or
2. Doing the same one or two things every day over and over at work

Most employers want you to be open to learning a lot of new things. That tells them that you are willing to take on new challenges... which makes you a better candidate for promotions. If you are only skilled at one or two things, you can expect to remain in the same position for many years.
