He's just jealous because you have a ton of guys after you when you're at work. Honestly in all things you do in this life, do whatever makes you happy and don't worry about anyone else. If you want to work there work there. Don't let your boyfriends insecurities have any type of persuasion on what you do. I think it's cool you work at hooters, the more power to you if you work there. The stereo type of hooters girls is that you all look good, its a compliment you work there. dont degrade yourself though in what you do. although that may be the only reason why you work there because you look good. at least your not having to get nude or anything, but even then some people like to do it because they have fun, if you like it stick to it. Later

I wouldn't quit my job over an ex. He's your ex for a reason. If you don't like the job or the way it makes you feel, then quit. Don't let the way someone thinks about your job affect your potential income. It may seem cheesy to some, but a lot of businessmen go to Hooters for meals and it's a great way to network until you find something you really want to do.

No. If your guy is saying something like that then it is probably because he is, or in your case was, worried that you would meet someone at work or he had issues with others viewing you in a sexual way. It is not a turn off at all. Not to me nor to my wife. We both saw a hooters girl in a hooters in tennessee that we would have loved to take home for some fun. Nope. Not a turn off. Not at all.

If you are happy working there, who cares what he thinks. He is an ex, move on to a man that can appreciate that you found a job you like to do and can make a lot of money doing it.
It is not like your job is being a prostitute or a stripper, you are a waitress.
Tell him to get over himself. He probably was a jealous insecure guy anyways!

as relationship material, yes. as just the hooters girl that serves his chicken wings and shakes her a$$ around the table, no. that's why hooters is still in business. lol. anyway, my guy friends all say they would NEVER date a hooters girl (unless it was a one night stand for bragging rights and they didn't have to actually date her) but they do like to look. hell, every guy likes to see t!ts and a$$ hanging out.

Turn off.

You'd be sexier in a skirt with glasses and your hair up.
