Yes, they would. And especially if he/she were queer! Republicans and hatred go together like peas and carrots! Hatred and love of money alone are the two major forces guiding their lives!!

Children can't vote and even when they become adults they show a profound ignorance in politics. Youth are more likely to be liberal and attracted to the liberal culture because libs support the culture of social and economic irresponsibility, a favorite youth activity.

The liberal agenda:

•attack American traditions, specifically Christian traditions and the traditional American family
•engage in "get-even" policies that support discrimination when it benefits historically disadvantaged groups
•punish and/or discourage achievement through taxation and fiscal policies
•use the rulings of the Judicial branch of the government as de facto law, irrevocable by anything short of Constitutional amendment or a future court ruling, thus bypassing the legislative process. Roe V. Wade is the most frequently cited example of "judicial activism".
•weaken the military strength and morale of the country by vilifying the practice of armed combat and hesitating to use force when it appears necessary
•use regulatory bodies over private enterprise to accomplish social goals and restrict competition (government, education, labor)
•establish secular and progressive social policy, including support for gay marriage, abortion, liberal drug policy, euthanasia and prostitution legalization.
•implement a foreign policy supporting the protection of human rights and multiculturalism through activism and social intervention.
Things That Make Liberals Feel Uncomfortable.

Women who where dresses, especially pink ones

Country Music
Mentioning Religion in any context
People who use the word “sin” and not “f***”
Men who where cowboy hats and/or boots
Carl Rove
Tax cuts
Rush Limbaugh
Personal Accountability
The 2nd Amendment
George W. Bush

I wouldn't. But I've raised mine better than that.

Just kidding, actually. I want him to have his own views on things, not just repeat whatever he's heard me say.

Ironically, my own parents are my polar opposites in their political views, and I still haven't told them. Not because I think they would hate me, but because they are so emotional about their opinions. Some things are better left unsaid.

Although, if they ever came out and asked me if I voted for Bush...
I guess after I said: which one, and which time? I'd have to tell the truth... Hell, yeah, I did. Jeb and George W., but not Old Bush. I wasn't old enough to vote then.

I've seen your posts before, so I know that you share a lot of the same opinions as they do. So I wonder, how would you react to a child of yours responding to the same question as I just did?

Of course not! No more than a Democrat would hate their children. Everyone gets their own brain, and parents accept their differences with their children.

And for those of us who realize that the real difference between the parties is razor-thin, it really doesn't matter much.

Just remember that the rhetoric you hear on the news is just talk. When it comes down to it, the two parties don't do much different from each other.

Do you have children?!?!?! Do you know any republicans? I'd just be happy that they voted!
By the way, we take our kids with us every time we vote. They watch the whole process. We want to make sure they know how important voting is. Who they vote for is a personal decision.

I think that is all a matter of who the Republican is and how rabid they are about politics. How about you dont tell them what you voted. After all that is our right. You never have to reveal who you voted for or why.

Children are a "product of their raising". Most children, when they first vote, follow in their parents footsteps. Once they get some life experience, they decide which way fits them best.

Thank you lucky2bealive, for your narrow-minded bashing of liberals.

I open doors for women
I am happily married and have a child
My wife wheres dresses (using your misspelling)
I've owned several SUV’s in my life
Ann Coulter makes me laugh, not with her but at her
I like Country Music
I am a Christian
I where cowboy hats and/or boots (using your misspelling again)
Tax cuts - I love tax cuts. Where's mine?
Rush Limbaugh is going to jail
Personal Accountability? (Who refuses to take responsibility for their actions?)
The 2nd Amendment - I am a proud gun owner
George W. Bush- OK, you got me on this one.
Funny. I actually feel comfortable.

"libs support the culture of social and economic irresponsibility" I sorry, but I'm still laughing over this one. Thanks, I needed that...

Nice "cut and paste" from Wikipedia, by the way.

No, but the cool thing is, no one has to discuss their vote, so voting for a bedwetting liberal could be someone's dirty little secret.

A true right wing republican would absolutely.

... they would be upset... of course if they "hated" their child for this, the child would probably be better off with someone like that out of their life anyway...
