I have central air and my old unit is 20 yrs old and is a SEER 10, we are upgrading to a SEER 13, how much should this cost?

About 6 years ago I had 1 replaced for around $3500.They may be more now.But it depends on where you live.Tip: You will/should replace the evaporator at the same time because if you are not satisfied the installer is going to blame any problem on it.. Whether it is the case or not..
