By oddball I mean off-the-beaten path sort of films that aren't something everyone will have already seen, not necessarily oddball in terms of subject/genre/etc.

Death To Smoochy is pretty oddball. It's got Robin Williams and that guy from Fight Club. It's about....well, if I tell you what it's about you probably won't want to see it. Let's just say there's a war between children's show mascots and it involves the Irish mafia. It's great. :D

Monty Python and the Holy Grail-- it was made on one of the smallest budgets ever, and it still hilarious.
Hoodwinked-- for some reason I'm addicted to this movie, and its different from most cartoon movies.
Donnie Darko-- it's really out there, but somehow it still makes sense.
Sin City-- the way the color and animation parts are done in the movie is so beautiful... and the stories flow together good.
