We just put an Armstrong tile ceiling in our basement. I can't be sure of the cost, but it wasn't too expensive. I suggest that you go to Home Depot or Lowes and check it out. It wasn't too hard to install either. Good luck!

lowes will tell you anything you need and the cost, but on the average lets say a 12ft by 12 ft. room you would need 4 12 ft wall angles/runners, 2 main runners, 15 cross tees and 18 2x4 ceiling tiles, double that if you are going with 2x2 ft. tiles, you will also need a roll of hanging wire and some ceiling hooks. now going with a mid priced tile all material shoul be about 175.00 for a 12x 12 ft. room. it should take about 4 to 6 hours to install by 2 people as long as one of them know something about the way it should be done, if hiring pros to do this then add about 300.00 to the cost. good luck.

Measure the length x the width to get the total number of square feet. Take your answer and multiply it times 1.12. This will add 12% waste factor to the final answer. Take the final answer and multiply it times $2.50/sq ft and this will yield a darn close answer if it is done professionally in the northeast region of the u.s. This includes labor and material but not furniture removal.
