you have special floating things somewhat like a heavyweight innertube. it is tied to a motor boat and the the boat pulls you. it is really fun if there are lots of waves (called wakes when tubing) then you fly up and have more fun. do not go too fast with the boat though or someone could get hurt. do not use unauthorized tubes. spend the extra money to get a safe and cool looking one. some are even in different exotic shapes too.
this is a picture of what you would see from the boat looking back at the tubers.....

It means floating down the river and relaxing on a tube. Most people drink while doing it.

Tubing here in Texas doesn't require a boat like everybody else is saying, "tubing" here means just floating down a river on a tube, no boats involved. It's a big pastime here.

Tubing is sliding down a snowy hill or being pulled behind a boat in an inflated ring-shaped tube.

Ah tubing is the best, a big thing where I live. I just went the other day, you just float down the river with your friends, drink a few, and just have a good ol' time.

Well, you can go inner tubing either down a mountain or down a river. Maybe they mean one of those things, otherwise, I don't know.

it is when you go on a round rubber item that is blown up with air and floats on water. then you go down a river or stream or body of water and you sit on the round rubber item(tube)
