to "need a gun and not have it" Is your answer from personal experience, or personal opinion, or both?

I think so. But then again if there really was an emergency do you know how to use it, know how to turn the safety off, and can you access it and take it out of a safe quick enough? These safetly laws are a little out of hand but I realize they are needed. Anyway yeah its good to have one if you need it...but is it worth the hassle and even accessible?

I don't believe that people should carry guns around at all. Here in Australia we got rid of gun ownership except under strict conditions. I don't understand how America allows anyone and practically everyone to carry a gun. Don't you see the parallels of gun ownership and violent crime? Get rid of them all.

It's a shame it's come to this, but with crime on the rise and gangs fully armed...we need guns.

A man who can't protect his family is not man. Get a gun and keep it in a locked-but-easy-to-access location.
