He said that I have to help him pick it out and it would probably have to go in lay-away for awhile (or whatever it's called). He has to leave for a month to fill-in for a summer camp.
While he's gone, is it ok for me to figure out what ones I like and talk to people in different stores and tell them his name in case he comes back in w/out me?

I'm not going to rush him. When he gets back I'm just going to tell him the stores that I have rings "on hold" that he may want to look through.

It is all right for you to go looking, it is something all women do. It is also okay to tell him which styles you like and prefer. He will want to get you something you like. But let him pick out the actual ring. It is so much better to be surprised, besides I find it kills the mood when a woman picks out her own ring, it takes away from the mans role.

maximum men extremely do favor to wonder their females with the hoop. i imagine as long as he has a wide-spread theory what you want, then enable him do it. Ask him, the subsequent time you're searching jointly, if he minds in case you try a pair on so that you will discover how they offer the impact of being. All in all, this is no longer an unreasonable request; he ought no longer have any problem with that. try some diverse varieties so he can get extra concepts of what you want, then go away it as a lot as him. he will likely do exactly fantastic on his personal!! good success!!! EDIT: The wonder element is gorgeous - I had instructed him I loved oval shaped diamonds & extremely wanted one like that, yet! even as he went to purchase my ring, he chosen a heart shaped diamond because he instructed the saleslady he wanted the most romantic engagement ring he might want to locate. i became thoroughly blown away by his gesture & extremely touched! It wasn't what i wanted in any respect - IT became extra efficient!

discretely give him some idea of what you like and expect from him. If he has enough info he can make the moment more special by surprising you with it and it still can be something your thrilled with. Guys like to feel they know how to please their significant other with their choices.
Good luck
