i'm in love with my boyfriend, but i cant seem to find the words to say it to him. i'm scared, i've have bad relationships in the past and i'm afraid the L word would scare him or make him uncomfortable with me. We have been dating for 2 years this July. Serious replies only please.

Just let it happen naturally. The more you think about it the more you will stress and it probably won't be the right time if you over analyze it. Relax. Enjoy the relationship you have and let the words flow naturally. Your soul will speak when the time is right, don't let your mind or heart rush too fast.

Do you know if he loves you? There are ways of telling. For example: men show love in different ways than woman do, they'll make sure you don't go out alone at night, they check you're car's oil and breaks when you don't ask him to. They tease you about things you're insecure about because they know you won't leave them for it. They'll laugh at you when you fall down and then help you up, dust you off, and give you a big kiss calling you "silly".
It's this kind of behavior you should look for. If he does that kind of thing, if you guys are best friends, then now is the time.

very easy answer. Buy him a stupid card that would say "i love you" at the end of the card, then scratch the word out. But make it legebal if he could still read it. Of course he would ask you why did you scratch the word out, then you could tell him i liked the card but i couldent find one that dident say i love you in it, then tell him i dont want to freek you out or anything. Try that out and you could thank me later

really? you have been dating two years and neither of you have said you love each other? That is the oddest thing I have ever heard. Do you feel that he loves you? I would say it to him and if he can't or is strained to say it back I would tell him that I love you but sometimes love isn't enough and end that relationship.
