Tenika, I definitely think that you were one of the prettier girls in the house and you did seem well-spoken and well-educated. However, I do feel that you did things that were very inconsiderate of the other girls. There is a difference between being overly confident and being just plain selfish. In the first episode when you walked around topless in front of the other girls and everyone else who was on the shoot, that was just bad manners. It may have been mistaken for being comfortable with your body because that is what top models do at real fashion shows but your not a top model - yet. Also, even though I do not like Sisi and think she has absolutely no modelling potential, I do feel that she was right about the blow-drying. After a certain time, people should be able to sleep. I've had roommates before and I know what its like to be kept up or woken up by a hairdryer - not fun. I would have been pissed off at you as well. Your extensions were your problem not theirs, so you should have found another time to do your hair or gone to another area of the house as Sisi suggested. So, yes you are confident but you are also inconsiderate. If you truly believed in yourself, you wouldn't need to be a diva. Your also 2-faced, the comments that you made about Andrea were not nice and you were contradicory as well. How could fashion be your passion when you know absolutely nothing about it? I love fashion and know a ton about it. I've followed it from the age of 12.

OMG I am sorry but the only nice thing I can think of saying right now is: DING DONG the witch is dead.
A person cannot be overly confident when they have something to be confident about. You said yourself that you have taken terrible pictures so far. In fact I am surprised you have made it this far on those pictures. Maybe they were trying to see something that was obviously not there. So what I don't understand is WHY ARE YOU CONFIDENT AT ALL? I think the judges see, as well as anyone intelligent. That the "confidence" you excert is nothing more then an act. Since the camera does not lie, this is probably why you have not been particularly well photographed. Like some of the judges say, you are such a diva and honestly, I do not think being a diva is a good thing. This is why I think its especially hallarious that just in a previous clip you were just saying how you believe you are at the top of your game. My point is that you have nothing to be confident about for you have no knowledge of what you were doing as a model at all therefore my answer is NO you were not kicked off for overconfidence because I believe there is NO confidence at all.

Your words after you got kicked off contradicted the words you said during the previous shows. The over confidence you are saying is probably ATTITUDE. The argument you had with Sisi was appalling. You overly reacted to her words claiming that she was inconsiderate. Did you ever ask your yourself what about you? Considering that you are not that stunning, the best way for you to move on further in the show was to work and double your effort. Even Jay Manuel said in the first show that he was not that convinced you can be a model in your photo shoots. Your intentions are far better than your actions. You are lucky to have gone this far, because I think you should've been eliminated in the first deliberation.
Your strong personality is never gonna get you further. It's either you get ignored or hated. One last few words, there is a fine line between being overconfident and having ATTITUDE, and my oh my....you crossed that line! If I were to sum up your performance, it's plain INSECURITY. If you said you were REAL, then that was an undesirable person people saw. I wonder how you got into the show, by faking the producers that you were REAL? Good luck, girl and stay out of modelling. Not your cup of tea, sweetie.

Partially, yes. Confidence is good, but only when that confidence is offset by a good dose of humility. It's one thing to have faith and pride in yourself; it's another to push that pride into other people's faces. I've always been told that if you're truly confident, you don't need to tell anyone that - they'll know just by being in your presence.
I also think that you are not that good-looking, can't take a decent photo for your life, and are incredibly selfish. It takes you two hours to brush out your extensions? Think of others for a bit and maybe start brushing your hair an hour or so EARLIER than usual. It's common courtesy to expect that people want to sleep at night, especially when it's one or two in the morning. If you had just taken the responsibility to start working on your hair at 9 or 10, it wouldn't have exploded into such a fight with Sisi, who I think is 100% in the right. I personally get incredibly annoyed by people who make noise all night, because if I don't sleep, I don't function.
Seriously, check yourself, and don't go into modeling, because it's clearly not where your heart is. Also, quit doing your make-up the way you do - the fact that your lips take up almost the entire bottom half of your face makes you look really face and out-of-proportion.
Yeah, ugly girls don't belong in the modeling world. It's the reason I ain't there either.

it was not the fact that u are over confident, u just need to learn how to use it properly. u are over confident and it will be your down fall. u may not change for anyone and u shouldnt. u want ppl to be considerate of u but your not of them. even tho your hair is a mess, u blow dry your hair at 1am?!? i can bet my life that if sisi was the one doing something that late u would be all over her face too. u and sisi are the same by talking about ppl, but the only difference is that u talk behind ppls backs, atleast sisi lets ppl know. ppl did have respect for u in the beginning but lost it by u beening racial, not cool making fun of ppls accent... u have no class.. u are such a diva and the real *****. backstabbing a friend that cried for u when u left too? u have no right u be talking **** when u are the same. well, atleast your gone. and ever u will be known the way u are in canada's top model. and u still think u can become a model after this? a famous one at that? g' luck.. u probably will not go farther then modelling locally. if everyone thinks your a diva and a *****, dont that tell u something? u want to be famous model? the fans dont even like u as much anymore. and thats the one important thing u need in the industry. u just lost all the self respect that your fans seen. i dont know u, and i shouldnt judge u. am bad for doing so. and the show is editted. but really, i think u just ruined your name out there.

I absoloutley disagree with the judges. Isn't confidense a big advantage for a model's career... and even if you didn't have the most "ideal" pictures, you still were and have the top model material. I think that Andrea should get out NOW! Her low self-esteem and the way that she dresses (no offense) bugs me! I can't beleive that they booted Heather off because she wore bulky shoes, but look at Andrea! Anyways... not to get off topic... but you were such a perfect model! Even though I liked some of the other contestants a lot too, you should've stayed longer... but being overly confident is a good thing!
Good luck in your future life as a model ;)

No, there's no such thing as overly confident; what they probably meant was that you're "complacent". I think that you got kicked off the show because you did not show any progress in displaying top model qualities, such as the ability to walk gracefully, speak professionally, pose attractively, look at the camera sweetly. If modelling is truly your goal right now, I'd encourage you to go for it, but with humility and creativity. Try also to cut out the cattiness, gossiping, and meanness, because that is counter-productive. Sisi is not perfect (and she's said some stupid things too), but she's demonstrated good results and progress in movement and stills consistently. It's a competitive world and you need to be able to dazzle differently and consistently every time. As for those remarks about the judges being scared of Tenika because she's a strong black woman, come on, that's just ignorance and defeats the value of learning from this experience. I look forward to seeing who the judges will pick as the next top model because I have faith in their professionalism and eye for what it takes to make it in this industry.

I am actually surprised you lasted this long considering there were certainly models better than you. With better attitudes too. You're wayyyyy too arrogant. Heck, if you actually spend more time working hard on improving instead of bitching about other finalists, maybe you would've lasted longer.
God, I was watching the show and all I can think was how much I hate your effing attitude! You spend so much time bitching about all the girls that can actually model. In the beginning, it was Brandi. You were bitching about how she was "a snake" just because she had great photos. Then Sisi was even more successful and you hated her even more. Are you really that insecure deep down that you must ***** and complain about all the good ones? Or are you just a jealous, untalented ***** that hates it when people do better than you?
I'm glad you're gone. Your endless bitching gives us a headache. Plus, you can't model. I don't know where you got your ideas, but in every photo, you have the same ugly, smug smirk.

You mean they actually made another ridiculous modeling show? I've noticed through tv and personal experience that you don't get kicked out of things because you're overly confident. If you got kicked off the show, it's because there's someone there that's better than you. Probably a few someones. Don't let it get you down. Be thankful you even made it to a finalist, seeings how there were probably hundreds, if not thousands of people who auditioned.

I agree with the judges when I really think modelling wasn't Tenika's best career choice and got kicked off. I didn't see her as arrogant really. Especially if you compare it to Jade, from the last run of America's Next Top Model. I was happy to see for once that the girl I thought had more potential was kept over the one that may have added more drama, and catfights to the show. I also think it is more because Tenika didn't have the same quality of photos as as everyone else in the group, and when it gets down to the last 5 girls everything you do counts, and one not - so - great photo can get you kicked out of the game.
