my hubbies family ALWAYS plans their vacation EVERY single year to stay at my home for at least a week, all expenses paid by me.......shouldnt hubby put an end to this??? esp since it upsets me???

My wife had the same problem ( seems like us men don't always listen ) Any way what she started doing is walking around the house naked said she wasn't goint to stop because "family shouldn't mind " anyway the family stayed at the motel the next time in town and our sex life greatly improved

Ask you hubby to talk to his family. Maybe he can explain why they need to stay at your house. Then tell him how uncomfortable you are with it. If he wont ask them to stay at a hotel, make sure he pays for everything. And he can cook and clean up after them. Next year he may be more willing to call a hotel.

It's not really fair for them all to turn up and not pay for anything, when I have my b/f family to stay they always pay for something, like a few bottles of wine or some of the shopping, it's not fair to expect you to foot the bill. Talk to your husband and say you would like his family to contribute to the expense of putting them up, they could at least take you out for dinner to show their appreciation.

hell yeah but dont wait for him u put a stop to it its your house to when they say we're coming say oh fine but u cant stay here this year i'll check around for some cheap hotels and if they ask why say because i dont wany to be over crowed and entertaining all day everyday and if he has a problem tell him he should of spoke up first

Well it depends does he enjoy having his family around?
If not then YOU should put a stop to it.
If he does then you owe him the respect to let that be time with his family.

yup but you end it for him. find out when they decide to come in and you leave out and let him deal with them i bet he will listen to you afterwards...

buy some tents and tell them their welcome to the back yard and if that aint good enough tell them to go to the hotel
