Live for tomorrow. What's in the past is exactly that. No use worrying about it. Don't have any regrets. That part is mine. Below is a quote from a friend of mines myspace page.

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

well i dont know if its cheerful or not but its a bit modified version of a saying which my sis once said to me after i came from school and told her that a lost (in something) mum was there so my sis said to me "dont worry "winning is nothing" just then mum went out of the room and my sis completed her sentence "because its everything!" at that time i felt like throwing somthing at her but now when i think of it what she said i feel like laughing "Winning is nothing ,cause it's everything!"
And here is a real quotation for you:
1.The reason there are so few female comics is that so few women can bear being laughed at.
2.I always enjoy appearing before a British audience. Even if they don't feel like laughing, they nod their heads to show they've understood.
3.Happiness is no laughing matter.
HOPE U HAVE A GOOD LAUGH:)

Try going to Beliefnet.com. Lots of different spiritual stuff. However, if that isn't available, just continually tell yourself (silently to yourself or loud to yourself), "I Am Wonderful And I Am Marvelous." You can try other daily affirmations also, as long as they are short, simple, concise, and above all, Positive. Tell yourself this too (even though it may be quite difficult), "I live in a friendly universe. All that I desire is on its way." And if you have problems cheering up yourself, you might look at all of the blessings & good fortune you do have, and remember others who might have more to be "uncheerful" about. Peace to you & Best Wishes.

This isn't the cheeriest thought but...
The grass is always greener on the other side, until you see the same dog take a dump on it.
Basically, you may feel that your life sucks or that other people have things easier than you do, but we all have our problems. It's how you deal with them and move on that makes all the difference in life.

If you log onto Beliefnet.com, you can subscribe to DAILY quotes - Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, Inspirational. I find some better than others, but do keep the ones I like such as:

The secret to success in any human endeavor is total concentration.
-Kurt Vonnegut

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

-George Eliot

These struck me... you might find others you like...

I always remind myself that no matter what happens, somebody somewhere loves me. (Even if I don't know it at the time.)

And I remember that as long as I can make one person's life a little bit better during my time here on earth, I've done my job as a human.
